Strawberry Protein Overnight Oats Recipe

I have to admit, mornings aren’t my favorite, but I’ve found a breakfast hack that makes starting the day so much easier. Strawberry Protein Overnight Oats has completely changed my breakfast routine! It’s creamy, protein-packed, and ready to grab in minutes
Total Time 5 minutes

Ingredients

  • ½ cup oats – I use old-fashioned rolled oats for the best texture and creaminess.
  • 1 tsp ground flaxseed or chia seeds – Adds omega-3s and keeps you full longer.
  • ½ cup milk of choice – I usually go for almond or oat milk but any milk works.
  • ¼ tsp vanilla extract – Enhances sweetness naturally.
  • cup chopped strawberries – Fresh is best for flavor; frozen can work too.
  • 20 g protein powder ~1 scoop – I use a vanilla or strawberry-flavored scoop to complement the fruit.
  • 1 tsp honey or sweetener – Optional for extra sweetness.

Method

  1. In your jar or container, combine milk, oats, flaxseed, vanilla extract, and sweetener. Mix well to ensure everything is evenly distributed and the oats are coated with liquid.
  2. If you’re using protein powder, add it now. Stir thoroughly to prevent lumps. The mixture should be smooth and creamy before adding fruit.
  3. You can mix in chopped strawberries now or wait until morning. Seal the jar and refrigerate overnight. In the morning, give it a quick stir and enjoy!

Notes

  • I like to use fresh strawberries for a juicy texture.
  • Adding a splash of milk in the morning helps loosen the oats.
  • I sometimes top with nuts or seeds for an extra crunch.
  • If I want it sweeter, I drizzle a little honey just before serving.
