- In your jar or container, combine milk, oats, flaxseed, vanilla extract, and sweetener. Mix well to ensure everything is evenly distributed and the oats are coated with liquid.
- If you’re using protein powder, add it now. Stir thoroughly to prevent lumps. The mixture should be smooth and creamy before adding fruit.
- You can mix in chopped strawberries now or wait until morning. Seal the jar and refrigerate overnight. In the morning, give it a quick stir and enjoy!
Notes
- I like to use fresh strawberries for a juicy texture.
- Adding a splash of milk in the morning helps loosen the oats.
- I sometimes top with nuts or seeds for an extra crunch.
- If I want it sweeter, I drizzle a little honey just before serving.
