Steak Fajitas Seasoning Recipe

When I first made this steak fajitas seasoning, I couldn’t believe how much flavor it brought to the table. Instead of relying on store-bought packets, I mixed together spices I already had on hand and ended up with the most incredible seasoning. It makes everything taste fresh, bold, and perfectly balanced.

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 2 teaspoons ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt use kosher if possible
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes optional for heat

Method

  1. Start by gathering all your ingredients and measuring them accurately. Use a mixing bowl large enough to hold all the spices comfortably.
  2. Add chili powder, cumin, black pepper, salt, smoked paprika, oregano, garlic powder, onion powder, and crushed red pepper flakes (if using) into the bowl. Use a whisk or spoon to mix until well combined. Ensure the spices are evenly distributed for a consistent flavor profile.
  3. Once your seasoning is mixed, transfer it to an airtight container or spice jar. Label it clearly with the date of preparation and store it in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. It will remain fresh and flavorful for up to 6 months.
