Protein Pineapple Turmeric Smoothie Recipe

I recently tried making a Protein Pineapple Turmeric Smoothie, and honestly, it instantly became one of my favorite healthy drinks. I love how refreshing pineapple tastes when blended into a creamy smoothie.
Total Time 5 minutes
Servings: 1
Calories: 260

Ingredients

  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
  • ½ banana
  • ¼ cup vanilla Greek yogurt
  • 1 cup frozen pineapple chunks
  • ½ teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 8 oz unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 cup ice

Method

  1. Start by gathering and measuring all ingredients before blending. Slice the banana and measure the pineapple, yogurt, and almond milk. Preparing everything in advance makes the blending process quick and easy.
  2. Add the almond milk to the blender first so the blades move smoothly. Then add the protein powder, banana, Greek yogurt, pineapple chunks, turmeric, and ice. Layering ingredients like this helps everything blend evenly.
  3. Blend the mixture on low speed first, then gradually increase to high speed. Continue blending until the smoothie becomes thick, creamy, and completely smooth with no chunks remaining.
  4. If the smoothie looks too thick, add a little more almond milk or water. If you prefer it thicker, add extra ice or frozen pineapple. Blend again briefly to combine.
  5. Pour the smoothie into a tall glass immediately after blending. Garnish with pineapple pieces or a pinch of turmeric for presentation. Serve chilled for the most refreshing taste.

Notes

  • I like to freeze the banana beforehand because it makes the smoothie thicker and creamier.
  • I always use unsweetened almond milk so the smoothie doesn’t become overly sweet.
  • If I want extra protein, I sometimes add another spoon of Greek yogurt.
  • I blend the smoothie for an extra 10 seconds to get a super smooth texture.
  • When I want a stronger tropical flavor, I add a few extra pineapple chunks.
