Ingredients

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 2 cups almond milk
  • 1/4 cup pistachios chopped
  • 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon orange blossom water
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Fresh orange segments for topping

Method

  1. In a medium mixing bowl, add rolled oats and almond milk. Stir in honey or maple syrup, orange blossom water, vanilla extract, and salt. Mix until fully incorporated and aromatic.
  2. Gently fold in chopped pistachios. They add a delightful crunch and nutty flavor that compliments the creamy oats beautifully.
  3. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap or a lid and place it in the fridge. Let it soak overnight to achieve a soft, creamy texture infused with all the flavors.
  4. In the morning, stir the oats well. Add a splash of almond milk if you prefer a thinner consistency for easy spooning.
  5. Spoon the oats into bowls and top with fresh orange segments and extra pistachios if desired. Enjoy a visually appealing, flavorful breakfast!

Notes

  • I like using fresh pistachios—they really enhance the crunch and flavor
  • For extra creaminess, let the oats soak 10–15 minutes longer in the fridge
  • Adjust sweetness gradually, I usually taste before adding more honey or syrup
  • I sometimes add a sprinkle of cinnamon for a warm, comforting aroma
