Start by heating your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking tray with parchment paper for easy cleanup. This helps prevent sticking and browning the bottoms too fast.
In a medium-sized bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, cheddar, mozzarella, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and black pepper. Stir it well so the mixture is evenly blended and creamy.
Slice your bagels in half and lay them cut-side up. Use a spoon or spatula to spread a generous layer of the cream cheese mix on each half. Don’t be shy—the more, the better!
Top each half with a few slices of jalapeño. If you’re worried about heat, make sure to remove the seeds. Then sprinkle crumbled bacon on top. Press lightly so it sticks to the cheese layer.
Place your loaded bagels on the baking sheet and pop them in the oven. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes or until the cheese is bubbling and the edges look golden and crispy.
Remove from the oven and sprinkle chopped green onions over the top if you like. Let them cool for a couple of minutes before digging in!
