Ingredients

  • 2 cups shredded grilled or rotisserie chicken
  • cup Louisiana hot sauce
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 4 burrito-size flour tortillas
  • Lettuce enough to layer each tortilla
  • Ranch dressing for drizzling

Method

  1. Start by heating a medium skillet over medium heat. Add the hot sauce, honey, and butter to the pan, stirring until everything is melted and blended into a glossy sauce. The aroma alone is enough to get you excited—I always sneak a quick taste! Lower the heat and simmer the sauce for a minute or two.
  2. Toss your shredded chicken into the skillet with the sauce. Stir until all the chicken is fully coated and heated through. Simmer on low heat for about 5 minutes to allow the chicken to soak up all that sweet and spicy goodness. Set the skillet aside once done.
  3. Lay out a burrito-sized tortilla on a flat surface. Add a layer of fresh lettuce down the center, which adds a refreshing crunch with every bite. Spoon generous portions of the hot honey chicken right on top of the lettuce. Make sure to drain any excess sauce before adding to avoid a soggy wrap. Drizzle with ranch dressing to add a creamy and tangy balance to the bold flavors.
  4. Fold the tortillas burrito-style by tucking in the ends and rolling them up tightly around the chicken and lettuce. If you’re serving others, slice each wrap in half for easy handling and a pretty presentation.
